HealthOne Medical & Wellness, conveniently located in downtown Toronto's Waterfront neighbourhood and steps away from Union Station, is currently seeking a Licensed Optician that enjoys interacting with patients in the eye-care field.

Our ideal candidate is a self starter who is eager to grow, motivated to achieve business goals and enjoys working in a collaborative environment, all while providing top-notch customer service!

Schedule

40 hours per week, between Monday to Saturday

We are seeking a provider who is:

• Passionate about the optical field and eager to ensure memorable & personalized eye-care experiences
• Able to dispense glasses & contact lenses, support patients through the frame selection process, take measurements for eyeglasses and provide fit adjustments
• Friendly, approachable & comfortable assisting Optometrists with pre-testing as well as patient education
• Detail-oriented & thorough, whether performing services for patients or contributing to the smooth operations of the practice (booking patients, inventory etc.)
• Open to joining forces with our Marketing team to help raise awareness regarding the benefits of Opticianry services

Requirements:

• Registered and in good standing with the Ontario College of Opticians
• Exceptional interpersonal, client interaction & communication skills, and the ability to relate to different personalities
• Charismatic with a solid ability to educate patients on different lens options and empower patients to select their preferred frames
• 1+ years experience in the eye care field, though new grads welcomed and encouraged to apply!
• Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet patient volume demands
