HealthOne The Well, our recently opened location in Toronto’s vibrant King West neighbourhood, is seeking a Dental Office Manager to join our team!

HealthOne Dental is one of eight departments found at each of our locations and is made up of a unified team of dental professionals eager to address each patient's unique goals. We are currently equipped and proud to provide our community with a variety of procedures from routine dental exams & hygiene services to cosmetic & emergency treatments. As such, we are looking for dedicated professionals with a passion for the Dental industry.

Job Summary

In this exciting opportunity, you will play an integral role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations of the practice. The key responsibilities of this role include staying on top of all necessary administrative duties and regularly liaising between the service provider team & clinic management, while simultaneously delivering exceptional patient care to our growing community and coaching your team to do the same.

Schedule

• Up to 40 hours between Monday to Sunday
• Flexibility to work within operating hours required, including evenings and weekends

Responsibilities

• Efficiently oversee the operations of the Dental department, including but not limited to, front desk tasks, insurance claims, hiring & training, collections and practice goal setting & achievement.
• Proactively manage & coach the dental administrative team to foster an engaged workforce that is delivering strong results.
• Interact compassionately with our patients to ensure they feel welcomed, accommodated, and encounter a 5-star experience at all times.
• Contribute to smooth clinic flow and overall success of the business by maintaining a harmonious environment as well as tracking performance metrics and identifying areas of improvement.
• Ensure adherence to existing policies & procedures and create additional systems or guidelines as necessary; train all Dental team members (clinical and non-clinical) on changes to support continued operational excellence.
• Collaborate with other practices and functions (ie. Marketing, Finance, Human Resources, etc) within the HealthOne organization.
• Actively seek out opportunities to improve and expand our patients’ experience in the clinic, while assisting the general management team to maximize clinic performance and growth.

Compensation

• $25-28/hour

Requirements

• 2-3 years of progressive Dental Administration experience
• Strong client service skills and impeccable communication skills
• Solid work ethic, organizational skills and ability to manage competing priorities effectively while remaining efficient in your delivery
• Self starter, motivated by goals and eager to wear multiple hats in order to grow with us
• Tech savvy, proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and experience using a CRM/EMR, specifically Tracker software
• Ability to work evenings and weekends based on business needs

Nice to Have

• Previous management experience in a similar setting
• Post-secondary education in Dental Administration or a similar topic
