HealthOne is expanding and looking for a Perinatal Pelvic Floor Physiotherapist to join our team!
HealthOne is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Physiotherapist with pelvic floor certification and a perinatal focus, to join our esteemed team at HealthOne The Well. This role is essential for providing specialized care to pregnant women and new mothers, addressing their unique needs and promoting optimal health during and after pregnancy. The successful candidate will work closely with a physician who follows patients from pregnancy through delivery, ensuring a robust referral volume and a collaborative approach to patient care.

As a Pelvic Physiotherapist in our clinic, you will play a pivotal role in the comprehensive care of our patients. Your primary responsibilities will include:
Individualized Treatment Plans: Develop and implement tailored physiotherapy treatment plans that cater to the specific needs of each patient. Your plans will address various aspects of pelvic health, pain management, and overall well-being, enhancing the quality of life for both pregnant women and new mothers.
Collaborative Care: Work in close partnership with our referring physician, who follows patients through their pregnancy and delivery. This collaboration is crucial as it ensures a seamless integration of care between medical and therapeutic interventions. By working together, you will help create a cohesive treatment approach that addresses both the medical and rehabilitative aspects of patient care.
Enhanced Patient Outcomes: Leverage the strong referral volume from our physician partner to engage with a diverse patient base. This partnership enables you to provide proactive care and follow-up, leading to improved outcomes and a more positive patient experience.
Patient Education and Support: Educate patients about pelvic health, appropriate exercise regimens, and recovery strategies. Provide emotional support and guidance to help them navigate the physical and emotional changes that occur during and after pregnancy.
Multidisciplinary Collaboration: Engage with our multidisciplinary team, which may include obstetricians, midwives, lactation consultants, and other specialists. Your role will involve contributing to team discussions and treatment planning, ensuring a holistic approach to patient care.
Continuous Learning: Stay current with advancements in pelvic floor physiotherapy, maternal health, and postpartum recovery. Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.
